How It All Started
I have been working on cars since I can remember. When I could hardly walk all I wanted to do was hang out with my Dad and his friends in the garage and watch them work on their hot rods. When I turned 10 I got my first motorcycle and then it really began, learning how an engine worked. I bought my first car when I was 15. It was a rust free, non running 1980 Pinto. My Dad and I ended up rebuilding the 2.3L engine and making a methanal injected, carbureted turbo kit. It didn't take long until I wanted to make more power than the little 2.3L could make so I rebuilt a 289 hi-po and put a B&M blower on it. This engine combo never made it into the pinto, but it did see a few mustang engine bays through the late 80's and early 90's. I ended up selling it in a 1979 foxbody in order to purchase my first house. This car is the inspiration for my current Project Feature car "Colypso"
I recently lost my father to dementia....I miss him every day. I have a small charm hanging off the mirror in both mustangs with a little bit of his ashes in them. You may notice them in my videos, its a way to bring my Dad along for the ride.
